ULTRA DOLPHINS - "Mar" CD now available!

While this won't be in stores and distros until November 7th, we just got the debut ULTRA DOLPHINS full-length MAR in the mail and it turned out totally sweet! The CDs are here now, and the vinyl should be here in about two weeks. Here is a photo of the front cover of the CD:

ULTRA DOLPHINS debut album, briefly titled "MAR", represents a fairly major departure from the band..s previous spazz-oriented, garage band freak-outs. Without losing focus on songwriting, the off-kilter structures move continually forward building up frantic but calculated momentum. Several piano tracks accompany drums and noisy guitars along with well-placed vocal melodies. The result is a dizzying but somehow unified listening experience which features a band at the height of their creative prowess. The packaging for this thing is equally intense, with a 6-panel chipboard jacket and 12-page song book. A solid debut album to say the least, and a true masterpiece to say the most!

We're totally amped on how this beast turned out and you can check out three MP3s from the album here:

If you want to buy this, we're charging $10 (postage included) in the USA and a few bucks more for international folks. You can order this and other stuff here: Robotic Empire's Online Store

Here are some more shots & closeups of the CD packaging:

Vinyl folks, thanks for being patient, the 12-page booklets were actually kind of hard to get made so it got a bit delayed. We should have them in a couple weeks though and will make another post then (and post the pressing info and photos of the vinyl then as well).

New & exclusive DAUGHTERS t-shirt, designed by JOHN BAIZLEY!

Hello internet- it may have be a few years overdue, but we've finally made a DAUGHTERS t-shirt for you! To make up for lost time, we had our favorite artist JOHN BAIZLEY (BARONESS, TORCHE, PIG DESTROYER, etc.) knock out this amazing design for us in our continuing series with him. It's a MASSIVE 16" tall by 8" wide print with three colors of ink (white, yellow and orange). This thing really did turn out beautifully, especially because we had these printed on 100% cotton Jerzees-brand black t-shirts.

Apparently the 100% cottons hold detail better than the 50/50s and this shirt is pretty much living proof of that! Per usual, this t-shirt is exclusively available through us, and we've uploaded some pretty large graphics to let you see the fine details of this beast, but keep in mind that these are digital camera photos... this monster looks even better in real life. Anyway, here's some graphics: extreme closeup of the detail, and/or an overview shot.

And just in case you're too lazy to click those links, here's a slightly smaller version for ya:

That appears to sum it up. DAUGHTERS rules, this shirt totally rules... enjoy!

New ULTRA DOLPHINS track posted, East Coast tour with GOSPEL

ULTRA DOLPHINS debut album, briefly titled "Mar", will finally see the light of day on November 7th in both the CD and LP formats. These 12 tracks span a solid 30 minutes and represent a fairly major departure from the band..s previous spazz-oriented, garage band freak-outs.

To celebrate the release of this long-overdue full-length, the band will embark on a solid east coast week+ party to showcase the new songs publicly. ULTRA DOLPHINS should also have both formats of "Mar" at said dates (most of which are with Level Plane's mighty GOSPEL):

10/21 - Brooklyn, NY @ Brooklyn Fireproof - w/ Dactyl, You Will Die, Bacon Wagon (Sweden)
10/25 - Charlottesville, VA @ TBA - w/ Gospel
10/26 - Savannah, GA @ Guitar Bar - w/ Gospel, VCR
10/27 - Gainesville, FL @ THE FEST V - w/ Gospel, VCR and 1 million badass bands
10/29 - Charleston, SC @ Cumberlands - w/ Gospel, VCR
10/30 - Asheville, NC @ El Nuevo - w/ Gospel
10/31 - Richmond, VA @ The Bike Lot - w/ Gospel, The Catalyst, Brainworms
11/02 - Wilmington, DE @ Mojo-13
11/04 - New York, NY @ Sin-é - Neurot & Robotic Empire CMJ Showcase - w/ Kayo Dot, Made Out Of Babies, MGR, Grails, Tone, Versoma
