FOUR New Vinyl Releases (VERSOMA, WINDMILLS BY THE OCEAN, PINK RAZORS, ULTRA DOLPHINS)

Hey folks, so we just put out FOUR new LPs... yeah, lots of vinyl. To make it more confusing, there's three different color vinyl variations for each release... 12 different color-combinations total. Wait, it needs to be more weird? Two of these releases have pre-order combo packages where you can get an exclusive t-shirt design through our site only. Oh, and music? It's the debut material from four vastly different bands: PINK RAZORS, ULTRA DOLPHINS, VERSOMA and WINDMILLS BY THE OCEAN.

We've kept a small secret here at Robotic Empire.... remember a while ago when we released all of those ISIS "Oceanic Remix" LPs? Well, we stashed 300 copies from each pressing for a box set that's taken us TWO YEARS to finish. Worth the wait? We think so, but you can be the judge for yourself:

It's got all four "Oceanic Remix" LPs from ISIS housed in a custom-made box along with a hand-made letterpress insert and "belly band" wrapped around the whole thing. Interrobang Letterpress (the folk behind ISIS' live series' CD packaging) took good care of us and we're now beyond stoked to unleash this beast upon the world.

Oh, did we mention the material contained within this box are original ISIS songs fully re-mixed & re-interpreted by a wide variety of musicians (both familiar and relatively unknown), including Mike Patton (IPECAC, MR. BUNGLE, FANTOMAS, etc), Justin Broadrick (JESU, GODFLESH, etc), James Plotkin (PHANTOMSMASHER, KHANATE, etc), Ayal Naor (27) and many more? Well, it is... and it's rad.

Hydra Head released the CD version of this after all 4 remix LPs sold out, but we've been planning this monster from the beginning and are very amped to finally have it done. ROBOTIC EMPIRE - Online Store Updates + THE CATALYST tapes!

Sup folks! So we're finally caught up on the massive wave of orders for the recent KAYO DOT 2xLP release (although we do still have some copies left on blue/blue/blue). We figured we'd take this opportunity to tell you about our latest updates to the Online Store, including a new label release by Richmond's unholy rock beast THE CATALYST.

This is the second in our cassette series and we couldn't really be much more stoked on how it turned out... well, maybe if we'd actually gotten them before the band left on their massive US tour with MASS MOVEMENT OF THE MOTH... but we ain't crying, they're still fucking sweet. 200 of these things were made, and before the band left they hand-screened a big pile of J-card covers for this thing with two colors of ink on this nice thick paper. The thing looks awesome, oh... and the music rules too.

Imagine KARP, NIRVANA, PG.99, BOTCH and THE MELVINS in a bong-hitting contest, and you're KINDA getting close, although no comparisons are really going to do this band justice... they just straight rip! Slow songs, fast songs... they've got it all down AND they rock the dual-drummer thing when things need to be taken up a notch. We got this recording professionally mastered (so it sounds MEGA) but if you still want some real convincing besides our standard "label hype", just go listen to their songs on ol' Myspace:

Miami, Florida's latest addition to the Robotic Empire roster, CAPSULE, are hitting the road again next week. Teaming up with GRAF ORLOCK (Level Plane) and COMADRE (Init) for the bulk of the dates, this trio will be entering the studio in two sessions both before and after the tour to track their debut full-length, which remains to-be-titled. Tracking will occur at Southern Studios with Jonathan Nunez (TORCHE, SHITSTORM) for a fall release on Robotic Empire. Here are the dates:

RED SPAROWES / GRAILS - Split 12" (gatefold) PRE-ORDER COMBO

OK folks so we finally broke down and decided to do a pre-order package combo kind of thing for our latest split LP, the RED SPAROWES / GRAILS split 12". This thing has turned out absolutely amazing, gatefold jacket, colored vinyl and all... so why not offer some exclusive AMERICAN APPAREL shirts from each band along with it? Well, we're doing it.
